The Cellule is an installation made of six beds that welcome the visitor like a uterus or an emotional bubble”. Thus isolated, the visitor is surrounded by screens whose images evoke hidden sensations, so that “the body and intellect, each in turn, begin shaking; as in restless sleep”. These movements are filmed and then rebroadcast inside the bubble. An artist-dancer-actor-singer moves about the bubble, interprets the waking dreams and illustrates the link between these waking dreams and the world of images.
